I'll just echo what everyone else has written, and like Woodwould, I especially like the grain of the tops.

Very, very, very, very nice. [1 for each daughter and 1 from me]
If that's what horses can add to a project perhaps you may need to think about hiring fees.
If your daughters are not truly impressed with what is obviously a work from the heart then nothing would please them.
Perhaps a pix of their faces when the big reveal happens could be framed and hung on the shed wall as a reminder.
Regards,
Bob

After meeting you this time around at the Sydney wood show and having you casually chatting about a project that you were doing.
"I'm just making a couple of small tables"
Amazing.

Very pretty timber. Lovely figure.
Three daughters......I know how demanding that can be on your woodworking.
Years ago I parked my car in a farmers paddock while I checked on our guys who were building some farm dams. When I got back to the car a mob of horses had left slobber and multiple teeth scratches all over the bonnet.
It was in a drought and the car was green.
You were lucky.
Lovely work Fletty.Scally

I've been in the shed for what seems ALL DAY ... except for a trip to Mr Ply .... and the newsagent ..... and the smoothie shop .... and what have I got to show for it? .... only two, yup TWO, dovetail drawer cases!
I formed 8 drawer fronts although needing only 6, expecting some attrition but, so far, 2 out of 2,
oh well, there's still tomorrow ......

ps, the first pic really shows up that I haven't buffed and waxed the tops yet!Last edited by fletty; 10th July 2010 at 06:56 PM. Reason: not enough only's

You're lucky.
