Carba-Tec Adelaide
To all South Australian Woodworking Forum members,
We can now confirm that we will be opening a new Carba-Tec store in Adelaide. We can't offer an opening date yet but we plan to open within 8 to 10 weeks.
It has come to our attention that many customers in South Australia have been inconvenienced by the recent closing of Mik Adelaide. In light of this, we would like to make the following offer effective today, April 11, 2008 that will remain effective until our new Adelaide shop opens:
Any order placed by customers in South Australia during this interim period will be sent freight free. This includes any items that might have to be backordered during this period. In such cases we will accept your payment details and will record your backorder and note that the goods, when available, are to be sent freight-free. We will NOT charge your credit card in advance. It is our standard policy that we do not charge for goods until they're ready to be dispatched. Pricing for goods will be charged at our normal retail pricing (ex Brisbane). This offer is strictly limited to customers in South Australia.
We will also be setting up a new online store for our Adelaide shop, however this will not be set live until the shop has opened for business. Until then, please place any online orders to be sent to South Australia through our Brisbane online store.
If you have any questions about this offer please contact us.

What a generous offer to those South Aussies who were concerned about not having a nearby woodwork shop.
