If you have anything like that it would be great mate.

    Trevor.
I just checked my screw collection in case, but no luck. Nearest I have is a single screw with a 3.2mm head, but it's Philips, not slotted. (10mm long.)

Thanks guy's for your tips on were to find some really small screws.
And even more having a look in your own stuff, to see if you had any!

But the search is over I found the little so and so's.
All I ever had to do was use my head, or more to the point have a look at what was on my head.
You've quest it the screws in the frame of a pair the glasses.
Their spot on for the job, just the right size.

I had a look around and found a pair of old sunglasses.
Of cause I only got two screws but that's all I needed at the moment.
I put them straight into the gauge with the needle and a few other things for detail.
    Job's done!

I wasn't sure if I was going to put the oil gauge on the engine in the beginning.
But I'm glad I did I really like the look of it.

    IMG_1642.jpg IMG_1644.jpg

I'm not even sure what other gauges go on the bike at this point.
But at least I know were to get the screws.
Best people keep their glasses on their heads for the next few months around here!

    Cheers.

That gauge looks really authentic Trevor.
    Nice work.

I considered glasses screws last night, but mine have a different screw altogether - the head is less than 3mm dia, intended to sort of embed into the arm rather than sit on top.

Eddie you know what if you don't mind I'll take you up on that!
All to often I spend days trying to find just a couple of screws.
I'll spend you a PM with my details.
And thanks again mate really appreciated.

Thanks Steven really glad you like it.

Today was the first good day I've had for working in weeks.
So I've been cutting steel for the frame and shaping parts all day.
I thought I'd check the forum and see what everyone's been up to.
But judging by the last few posts I think I've missed something.
Still you can't beat a good mystery!

Anyway mate thanks for your interest in the bike.
    Cheers.

No mystery. Lets just say i had a bit of a brain lock-up about the merits of your white light, liquid filled gauge and leave it at that. (the one with out the needle)

Lucky there's an edit button is all i can say.

I am still very much interested, and very much impressed.

    Steven.

    Hey Steven
    I'm sorry about that mate.
I wrote that tongue in check to have a laugh with rwbuild, after his no needle joke!
I had a funny feeling when I pushed the submit button that it might be a bit over the top.

Anyway I hope your enjoy the rest of the build.
    Cheers mate.
    Trevor.
