Mitre track, glue or screw?
Having been side tracked by various other purchases, my router table was starting to sulk due to lack of attention (must be female).
Anyway, after buying an Incra 1000SE Mitre Gauge at the Adelaide WW show, I decided it was time to add the mitre track to the router table. Carefully routed a dado in the top (would hate to do all that work again!) and she fits nice.
My question is, what have other people done, just screwed the mitre track in the dado or glued and screwed, or even glued only?
Can't seem to make up my mind, some other opinions would be welcome.
BTW the Incra 1000SE mitre gauge is a beauty, used it a few times on the tablesaw, very impressed.
Also nice that the colour matches the Incra LS jig on the router table

Gidday Shed, I just screwed mine but I noted that Graeme from PWS mentions liquid nails as a sole fastener.

BS,
I glued and screwed. Haven't had any concerns so far. Those were the droids I was looking for.

Thanks guys, the track is in, finished up using both glue and screws. Used waterbased liquid nails as it seems to be a bit easier to compress, fairly tight fit in the routed dado.
That completes the last part of the router table.
Next job is making the extension wing for the tablesaw and making provision for the Incra jig on that for small parts cutting, eg box stuff etc and laminating strips.

That is simply beautiful. My hat's off to anyone who coughs up the dough for parts like those. Easy and accurate setup - regardless of tool type - is what takes machines beyond mere means to an end and makes them a cherished part of the process. You actually look forward to the work!
And let's face it, the fun in woodworking is working with wood - not just the result.
Jealous as hell mate. Jealous as hell...

Thanks Damien, was using the router table today. Doing some template following routing which I hadn't done before. Had to make 50 identical parts in MDF, so made a template and they were a breeze to make.

Thank you for your kind comments, but I have no intention of "passing on" for a while yet! (I hope, fingers crossed)
There is a WIP with more pictures in this thread.
