    Waldo,

    If I started charging for flippant comments then surely every time I posted one I could be accused of spamming.

    Flippant comments will remain free (plus postage and handling).

    G'day Felder,

    If your flippant comments are free there must be something wrong with them. I'll wait for the upgraded version when you've sorted them out and then I'll pay for them.
    I make things, I just take a long time.

    Initally they said NO , untill I pointed out that THIS was my favourite site

    ATTENTION ALL FORUM USERS!!

    Due to public demand, flippant comments from myself will now be charged at $5 each. This price includes GST, but does NOT include postage and handling.

    Due to my remarkable trusting nature, I shall just keep a tally of all the flippant comments I make, and then post the invoice just before I retire. Settlement would then be appreciated as quickly as possible.

    first part is right, but what's that crap about pretending to work? That would take too much effort!

    I look at it as time investing in my future career.

    Do you intend to set up a trade in link on your website for our "used" flippant comments as well. It's only fair if we have to pay the "new" price of $5 we expect a decent trade in price on ours. As a retailer you know how important the "change over price" argument is in clinching a sale.
    Cheers

    Bloody hell, Caliban! The fact that you've got a busted leg doesn't give you the right to break my brain!

    So now I have to offer new flippant comments, and offer a trade-in price for other flippant comments. I'm sure you also recognise the fact that I need to make a profit on the comments that I buy off you (such is the way of business), so;

    PRICE LIST FOR FLIPPANT COMMENTS FROM FELDER
    * Brand new Genuine Felder Flippant Comments, manufactured in Austr(al)ia - $5
    * Trade-in your Flippant Comment to purchase a new Felder Flippant Comment for only $3!
    * Purchase a second hand Flippant Comment of dubious quality ( ) - $3
    * Trade-in your Flippant Comment for a second hand Flippant Comment - $1.

    Prices include GST, but not postage and handling. Special offer - purchase five or more new Flippant Comments or ten or more second hand Flippant Comments to receive FREE postage and handling!

    Any questions?

    But since you're just up the road from me, Mark, I might pop by every so often just collect what you owe me.

    Now tell me more about this bridge of yours......chuck in a few of your emus and perhaps we can strike a deal...

    "w o r k" is probably the 4 consecutive letters I try not to use, and equally " owner" and "supervisor".
    I am 'free' - a beaut 4 collation of letters.
