A Lotze hacksaw, which is in my shed and a beautiful NH Waldown. The seller was chasing 200 bucks for the drill. I walked because it had a 3 phase motor fitted. I often think about it and my letting the thing slip away. I can ######## myself about never needing to drill small holes but I reckon if I found another I could quickly convince myself that I needed it.

    Waldown made some neat gear.

Hi RC, Send a PM to Joe Hovel, ( or Nick Mueller? ) he can give you a translation, if you can't get hold of Joe, I can email it to the folks in Austria for you. Google translate is pretty hopeless at any degree of subtlety.

    Regards

If I need to post more then give me your telephone No. and I can specify when shipped.

The packet may take up to 10 days to reach you.

    I'll send it tomorrow!

Now it starts to make sense...

I take it the seller is posting tomorrow but thinks the postage may cost more then I paid which was 12 Euro for a Haimer 3D taster.. As such the seller wants my telephone number to advise if I owe her anything if it costs more..

Not that giving my telephone number is going to help matters and I did pay the postage rate ebay had on it...

So what do I send in reply...... My german is limited to ww2 films.. achtung, nine, mine fuhrer....

Ok, I read it that the Post (office) needs your telephone number before she can send it.

You could try just sending it in English,if the seller does not understand they should be able to find someone that understands enough,as you have done.

I would just ask the seller to send either an amended invoice with the correct postage or just send an invoice for postage only.

If it can't be done this way through Ebay for some reason you could always either ask the seller for their Paypal email and make the payment that way to them for services or you could supply your Paypal email and get them to invoice you.

OK Thanks Pete, I used babylon translate and hopefully told her that I do not speak german and am using an internet translation tool and gave her my phone number...

Or well that was the plan, hopefully it does not translate into something unexpected....
