As Al says a bandsaw, and I'd add a tablesaw. The bandsaw is super for resawing and for cutting curves, whereas the T/S is good for accurate and repeatable dimensioning cuts with a good cut surface.

After that then it's a question of jointer and thicknesser. One can do the work of a jointer with hand planes of the right sort (and a bit or practice), but a thickness planer is invaluable for good joinery.
