Geoff we both use Micro Mesh I sand all the way to 12000. EEE is basically a cut and polish for finishes on timber. By using the EEE first it does not cut and polish you actually lay down a wax coating, so therefore the Shellawax friction polish sits on the wax and does not penetrate into the timber. I use Shellawax friction polish in the same way as CA. I lay down several coats of Shellawax friction polish down and then use the EEE to cut and polish the Shellawax friction polish. By laying the friction polish down first it penetrates into the timber and allows you to build more layers of polish.
