That looks like something made for railway maintenance. It would be next to useless with that stand (unless it was secured into the ground)... To me, It looks like it was added by a previous owner...

That's a great looking mill. If I lived in Sydney I'd have a go at wining that. As posted earlier you could easily source the parts from the US.

I could think of worse ways to spend $5,000... Absolutely fantastic. They just don't make them like that any more.

Actually I was talking about this very issue with a sales rep from Bluescope Steel recently.

Your "square" tube was probably sourced from China or Asia... Also you'll find the welded seam is not...
